The idea for this website came after getting a haircut a few years back while visiting my hometown.
When back home in the small town I grew up in West Tennessee I try to stop by and get a haircut whether I need it or not at French’s Barber Shop. That Barber Shop is where I got my first haircut 60 odd years ago. While cutting my hair Frenchy would always tell stories about my Dad and his friends. He would go on and on about how good a man my father was and all the things he did for friends, family and the community. As I left Mr. French's it struck me that how is anyone going to know what a great guy, my dad, really was now that he is gone. The few short words on his head stone is all there is and thats nothing more than, birth date and the day he died. If he was rich and famous he would have biography page on some fancy website, but common folks don't get biographies written and published they just get forgotten!
